Cardiff Blues have confirmed their 2017/18 home, alternate and European jerseys this week, ahead of the new season starting against Edinburgh next Friday.
The home jersey was the first up to be revealed as Canterbury moved away from the darker blue design we’ve had for the last few seasons, back towards a predominantly lighter blue shirt with darker strips and V-neck collar.

The alternate jersey will not be changed this season, as the club stick with the pink and white design that was used last season.

Meanwhile there is a new European jersey design, similar to that of the home jersey, with blue and yellow as the primary colours.

It once again is a nod to Owen Williams and the #StayStrongForOws campaign, as the club continues it’s support for the former player, combining the colours of Cardiff Blues and Owen’s hometown club, Aberdare RFC.
Three striking and well designed kits that have been received well by the majority of the fanbase and are sure to sell in numbers, as long as the club store is stocked effectively.
With this season the last in the contract with Canterbury it’ll be interesting to see who the kit suppliers are next season, as rumours of Adidas continue to swirl.
However, for now we have three good looking jerseys on our hands, and they could look like trophy winning jerseys…
