Cardiff Blues are set to be boosted by the return to fitness of Nick Williams and Aled Summerhill for Saturday’s crunch game against Ospreys at Judgement Day.
Both players missed the defeat away to Connacht last time out, with Williams having also been unavailable to play the previous week at Munster too, but will make timely returns ahead of the huge game at the Principality Stadium.
Summerhill had picked up a thigh injury at Irish Independent Park which ruled him out of the game in Galway, while it is unknown what was keeping Big Nick out of the side but he was close to returning last time out, only to fail a fitness test in the days leading up to the game.
Williams has made 21 appearances in all competitions to date, while Summerhill is on just 13 competitive appearances across all competitions, but is second on the Cardiff Blues top try scorer list for this season, crossing the line 10 times.
Elsewhere it is unlikely Kris Dacey will be available to lead the side out at the Principality Stadium after missing the game away to Connacht with a knock picked up at Munster.
