Cardiff RFC have largely stuck with the side that beat RGC in the Specsavers Cup last week as Steve Law’s men return to Indigo Group Premiership action.
Llanelli are the opponents as the Blue and Blacks travel West to Parc y Scarlets looking to build on the round one victory over Pontypridd at the Arms Park two weeks ago.
Cardiff have made just two changes to the staring XV, with Sam Beard returning in place of Jack Brooks at inside centre and a reshuffle in the forwards seeing Callum Bradbury not involved, Sam Pailor moved up to second row and Alex Everett returning to blindside flanker.
On the bench there are a few changes as Ollie Drake returns to cover tighthead, James Thomas could make his debut, Jack Brooks drops down and Amir Jiwa-Walji is in line for a first appearance of the season.
