Cardiff RFC’s Specsavers Cup defence will continue with an away tie at Llanelli in the quarter-finals.
The Blue and Blacks have been drawn away to the West Wales side with the game set to take place at Parc y Scarlets on the weekend of the 25th January.
Steve Law’s men won the competition last season thanks to defeating Merthyr in the Final at the Principality Stadium, the first time we’ve won the competition since 1997.
So far this season Cardiff have beaten RGC in North Wales and last week took apart Ebbw Vale at the Arms Park to ensure passage to the quarter-final, where we will face Llanelli who beat Maesteg Quins in round one before receiving a bye in round two.
The Blue and Blacks have already won at Parc y Scarlets this season, 10-33 back in September, with the return league fixture set to take place on the first weekend of January.
